Wood chips

Wood chips are a crushed wood biomass with a certain particle size, intended for combustion for energy-generation purposes. High-quality wood chips are made from wood logs, have low ash content, relatively high energy value and high humidity. The quality characteristics of wood chips are worse than the fuel pellets, but it is compensated by a more affordable price.

Wood chips are an environmentally friendly type of fuel - during combustion, the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere equals the amount of CO2 absorbed during the whole life cycle of the tree from which it was produced.
